HypeDawg is a small but mighty electrodog, trained to hunt and fetch what's hypin' and bring it to your agents
You (or your agents) set up HypeDawg monitors by specifying the audience and category (e.g. "What's hypin' among tech bros in SF?" or "What's hypin' among pet-centric video creators in India?")
HypeDawg then goes hunting and tracking, parsing and embedding, analyzing and deduplicating — so that you don't have to. And it does it daily.
Then you or your agents receive a webhook or an email daily, containing top 5 things that are hyping in the last 24 hours — with the best examples (already fetched and parsed so you don't have to)
You and your agents can then decide how to use this to your advantage. For example:
- reuse hooks, themes and approaches that are trending in your own social content
- turn this into a newsletter or a podcast with your own "take" on it
- feed this to your product management agents to auto-match new cool features your competitors are releasing
- ... etc.
HypeDawg is accessible via CLI, API and MCP — all you need to do is sign up, add a payment method and get an API key

man faq

How much is HypeDawg?: $5 / per month / per monitor.
What does HypeDawg actually do behind the scenes?: The general pipeline is straightforward: (1) search using all the available search tools (exa, serper, apify, perplexity, firecrawl etc. etc.); then (2) ingest and categorize (lots of little tricks here to get the actual content in a useful format including getting videos onto our S3, parsing things scene by scene etc.); then (3) deduplicate and compare against what has already been delivered on this monitor in the past (this is the tricky bit, and we won't tell you how we do it, but we do it real well); and finally (4) compile and send a webhook/email.
Why wouldn't I build this myself?: Sure you can. But it will be worse (we tune our categorization and dedup real good), massively more expensive (separate subscriptions for lots of scrapers etc.) and you will have to manage and update it — not to mention infra. If that sounds like fun — go for it.
Wouldn't everyone in my space get the same trends?: Yeah. That's what trends are — the common stuff, the stuff that everyone is doing. HypeDawg's job is to fetch you that in a guaranteed and easy to use way. Your (or our agents') job is to turn this into something that is uniquely you.
